
BRENDAN COOK
Brendan Cook graduated with honours in 1997 from The College of Fine Arts UNSW, he then began working as a web designer and animator for new media pioneers GoManGo before moving into Broadcast Design and animation at multi award winning industry leaders GMD.
Whilst building his professional design and animation career Brendan also developed an interest and talent for film making, completing 2 short films which have screened internationally receiving awards in numerous film festivals.
In 2002 Brendan created the Sydney based design and animation studio pictureDRIFT, providing excellence in creative services within the film and television industry. Brendan has also continued developing as a film maker through many music video projects for artists including Gotye - Hearts a Mess, the Cops - Dirty little Rebel, Paul Mac and Smog - Rock bottom Riser which has screened in over 15 international film festivals throughout 40 countries.
MELISSA PRAGASSEN
Melissa began studying a bachelor of Visual Arts Majoring in Photomedia at Sydney College of the Arts. Excited by the possibilities of digital media however, she soon transfered to the University of Wollongong and in 2004 graduated with a degree in Graphic Design & New Media.
After studying, Melissa began working in print at Yen Magazine and Vogue Australia, before moving into to a Broadcast Design role at Zspace where she developed her animation skills providing graphics for a range of television programs including Hi5, Honey We're Killing the Kids, Home and Away the AFL amongst others.
Continuing her keen interest in Broadcast Design, she then took a design role in the Foxtel Design department, creating graphics for Foxtel Box office, W Channel, History Channel, Biography and Fox 8.
Melissa started with pictureDRIFT in mid 2007 and has been an integral part of the team since then, working on a wide range of projects featured on this site.
